# Overview

VESSL **dataset** is a collection of data sourced from local disks or cloud vendors such as AWS S3 and Google Cloud Storage. You can mount the registered dataset to the experiment container in runtime.

### Managing datasets on the web console

Click the **Datasets** tab to view your organization's datasets.
